History

Archaeological finds point to a first settlement of the area in the Bronze Age through ( discovery of a rag ax in Edelmannshof ). We also found a number of burial from Carolingian- Ottonian period. Probably interred Frankish settlers on the hill above the marshy Trebgasttales. Within the Church found themselves under the screed the sacristy during a renovation, the remains of a fortified tower. 1322 for the first time a church was mentioned. 1398 the Lords of Künsberg from the castle Wernstein were invested with the parish.
