Håvard Bøkko

Håvard Bokko (born 2 February 1987 in Hønefoss ) is a Norwegian speed skater. He is the brother of Hege Bokko speed skater. For many years, he is a promising talent with similar results as junior Sven Kramer, Gianni Romme and Eric Heiden.

Achievements

In November 2005 he reached three junior world records within two weeks. On November 5 he ran the 3000m in 3:43,66 min., On 13 November, the 5000m in 6:18,93 min. and on 18 November the 1500m 1:46,07 min. Currently (January 18, 2006), he is ranked 12 in the speed skating Peerage.

At the Junior World Championship 2006 in Erfurt he took clear first place. In the same year Håvard was sixth in the all the Senior World Championships.

After moving to the senior citizens in the season 2006/2007 Håvard could almost easily build on his success in the juniors.
