Headstrong (English " obstinate " ) is the title of the debut album of the American actress and singer Ashley Tisdale, acquired through the musical TV movie High School Musical fame. It was released in Germany on 23 November 2007, in the United States it was released on 6 February 2007.
Background
" Headstrong " was recorded in the fall of 2006 in more than a dozen studios. For the recordings Tisdale worked with established producers in the music business, so among other things, Jonathan " J. R. " Rotem ( Britney Spears, Rihanna ), The Matrix (B. Spears, Hilary Duff), Kara DioGuardi ( Gwen Stefani, Ashlee Simpson ), Guy Roche and Shelly Peiken ( Christina Aguilera ). First, it should also appear in 2006, but was Tisdale busy with the shooting of the series Suite Life of Zack & Cody, in which she plays along, and Promotion for High School Musical, so they decided on a release date in the spring of 2007.
The album also contains two gecoverte Tisdale Songs: " Do not Touch " (originally "Zoom" ) by Tata Young and " Goin 'Crazy " ( original: " All Eyes on You" ) by Sandy Mölling what the overlap with the songwriter related.
On 17 October 2008, her fourth in Germany single " Be Good To Me" published - six days before the start of the film High School Musical 3: Senior Year, in which she plays along as in the previous two parts. The soundtrack to the film, will be released on October 21.
Promotion
The music video of " He Said She Said" was promoting including Eckored.
Tisdale even campaigned for " Headstrong " by singing three songs of the album on the tour for High School Musical in different countries.

Until 3 March 2008, Tisdale's debut album sold 500,000 copies in the U.S. alone ( Gold award ) and has also made in Germany nearly 100,000 sales. Also over 500,000 sales recorded her single " He Said She Said" in the U.S. until 12 June 2008.
