Henrik Dahl

Henrik Dahl Edner ( born May 1, 1975) is a former Swedish football player. The defender played his career in his home country, Denmark and Norway.

Career

Dahl comes from the youth of Grimeton IK and the Varberg BoIS. In 1995 he moved to BK Hacken, who took his time in the second division. At the end of the 1997 he qualified with the team as runners- Südstaffel behind local rivals Västra Frölunda IF for the play-offs for the Allsvenskan in which they prevailed against Västerås SK and advancement. In the first league season in 1998, he came to the side of Jonas Henriksson, Ola Karlsson and Johan Lind used, but straight back down the Gothenburg club he could not prevent. However, the stay in the second division lasted only one season and as a climber held BK Hacken this time until 2001 the class. As a regular player, he was the club after relegation in the Superettan in the second division season 2002 faithful. Once on goal difference at end of season the relegation place was missed, but he left after 287 stakes in eight years the club.

New employer Dahl was the Danish club Silkeborg IF in Super League. Under coach Viggo Jensen was a regular player at first and denied on the side of Kenneth Fabricius, Thomas Poulsen and Iddi Alkhag until the end of the season 14 season games. However, for the third time in his career he suffered at the end of the 2002 /03 relegation from the first division. It first antgetreten half series in the second division, he moved to Norway to FC Lyn Oslo in the Tippeligaen. Again and again slowed by injuries, he could there not permanently establish itself as a master force. With the team to Daniel Theorin, Tommy Berntsen, Steven Lustü Jan Derek Sørensen and Kristian Flittie Onstad he reached in the 2005 in third place with the club the European Cup. There, however, no use was granted to him, as he was injured in May 2006 at the cruciate ligament and long- precipitated.

After his contract with Lyn Oslo in late 2006 expiry Dahl returned to Sweden and signed a two-year contract at Gothenburg club GAIS. Here, too, continued his susceptibility to injury, so that he could not establish itself. After he had only been active in the reserve team, the club gave him in the summer of 2008 to his former club Varberg BoIS.

After his contract initially without a club leakage, Dahl changed again in March 2009 to Norway and joined the third division Bærum SK. After he had been working as a full sales manager at the Hard Rock Cafe in Gothenburg since 2008, he took over this position in Oslo Hard Rock Café. In 2010 he ended his active career. In August 2011, he joined as Key Account Manager at Radio Metro, in January 2012, he moved in Bærum SK on the coaching staff.
