Heriot's Rugby Club

The Heriot 's Rugby Football Club is a rugby union club that plays in the Scottish Hydro Electric Premiership. The home games are played in Goldenacre, Edinburgh.

The club was founded in 1890. 1920, won the unofficial Scottish Cup for the first time. At the beginning of the 1970s the club was one of the proponents of a championship, which should be organized by the National Federation. 1979 succeeded the first title in this competition. 1999 and 2000 reached Heriot 's two more tracks.

They qualified for the first issue of the British and Irish Cup by second place in the Scottish Cup in 2008 /09.
