Hernán Buenahora

Hernán Buenahora Gutiérrez ( born March 18, 1967) is a Colombian cyclist.

Hernán Buenahora began his career in 1990 as a professional racer. In 1997 he took part in the Tour de France. A year later he moved to Vitalicio Seguros and won the Tour of Catalonia, including two stage wins. In 2000 he went to Selle Italia, where he was a year later four stages of the Tour of Colombia wrote on his account and so the overall rating could decide for themselves. In autumn 2006 Buenahora won the Clásico Ciclista Banfoandes in Venezuela at the age of 39 years.

In May 2008 Buenahora was tested positive in a doping test at the Tour of Colombia, in which he also won the individual time trial, which explained his sporting excellence even at the age of 41 years. He was banned for two years.
