Action
Bernard Laplante, called Bernie, is a hopeless petty criminal and notorious liar. His ex-wife despises him and his son is disappointed in him. During a trial, he even steals from his lawyer. After this trial for receiving stolen goods, he is set for a deposit of $ 5,000 at liberty until the final sentence is announced.
When he wants to pick up his son to the movies, crashes right in front of him on a plane from a bridge. Trivia
- Mariah Carey wrote her number 1 hit Hero initially for this movie, but the producers were not suitable for the song. Instead, the song Heart of a Hero by Luther Vandross was used.
- The film was supposed to Hero and a half hot, but was due to the concurrent film A Cop and a Half renamed.
