Hilda Gaxiola

Hilda Gaxiola Alvárez (born 14 July 1972 Guamúchil ) is a former Mexican beach volleyball player.

Career

Gaxiola 1999 played their first Open tournaments with Teresa Galindo Mata. At the World Cup in Marseille the Mexicans occupied the 33rd position. The following year she took part in the Olympic Games in Sydney and left after two defeats in early. 2001 was Gaxiola a new duo with her longtime partner, Mayra Garcia. After surviving first round she defeated in the first round of the World Cup in Klagenfurt their former team-mate Galindo and defeated in the second round against the Czechs Celbová / Novakova.

Two years later, Gaxiola / García failed in Rio de Janeiro as runners-up to the Chinese women You Wenhui and Wang Lu.
