Hilde Holovsky

Hilde Holovsky ( born April 29, 1917 in Vienna, † July 3, 1933 in Vienna) was an Austrian figure skater, which was launched in a single run.

Holovsky 1932 and 1933 Austrian champion in figure skating ladies. She took from 1931 to 1933 at the European Championships in part. 1932 and 1933, she finished fourth and 1931 she won the bronze medal in St. Moritz behind Sonja Henie and rural women Fritzi Burger. Even more successful was Holovsky in their two World Cup appearances. 1931 in Berlin, she became vice - world champion behind Sonja Henie and this time before Fritzi Burger. 1933 in Stockholm she won bronze behind Henie and the Swede Vivi- Anne Hultén.

Holovsky was unable to attend the World Cup in 1932 and the Olympics in 1932, given that the tournaments were held in North America and their parents could not afford. She was also a good skater and erlief in this discipline in 1932 the Austrian record over 500 meters.

Holovsky died July 3, 1933, of appendicitis.
