The stadium Hohewarte is a sports stadium on the Hohenwarte in the 19th district of Vienna Dobling. History

Today's High -wait stadium was opened in 1921 as the largest and most modern football stadium in continental Europe. The maintenance costs of large-scale stadium area be around € 400,000 a year and burden the budget of the financially weak Vienna strong. This also explains why 2012 plans were announced in May, after which an exclusive spa complex will be built on the site of the Hohenwarte. This project should contribute unique 1.2 million euros and reduce operating costs by € 300,000. To date, no further progress of these plans are known.

The stadium is well connected to various public transport: on the one Hohewarte on the Vienna Heiligenstadt station is easy to reach.
