Holly Near

Holly Near ( born June 6, 1949 in Ukiah, California) is an American songwriter, singer, actress and teacher.

Life

After her schooling in near singer of the U.S. band Freedom Singers, the songs American folk music was recited. Near studied at UCLA in California and attended the theater program at the University. Near participated as a student at the Vietnam protests and became a member of the organization Another Mother for Peace.

Since 1969, she appeared in several television productions in U.S. television. Her first television appearance was in the TV show The Mod Squad.
