Hrabová (Šumperk District)

Hrabova ( German Raabe ) is a municipality in the Czech Republic. It is located seven kilometers south-east of Zábřeh and belongs to Okres Šumperk.

Geography

Hrabova is located at the foot of Úsovská Highlands ( Ausseer hills ) in the Müglitzer furrow ( Mohelnická Brázda ). The village is located on the left side of March along the inflow Hrabovský creek. West of Hrabova lead the Moravian Sázava and Vitošovský Nahon in March. History

The village said to have been founded by the local chronicle in the 11th or 12th century and was originally named after the Lhotensystem Lhuota. The first mention of belonging to the reign Usov village took place in 1344.
