Hrádek (Rokycany District)

Hradek ( German Hradek ) is a town with 2974 inhabitants in the Czech Republic. It is located five kilometers south-east of Rokycany in Brdywald and belongs to Okres Rokycany. The land area is 605 ha

Geography

The place is located in 440 m asl in the western Brdywald on the left bank of the river Klabava. To the north rises the Hrádecký vrch ( 549 m), is located behind the Zdar ( 629 m). By Hradek the railway branch line from Rokycany leads to Nezvěstice.

Neighboring towns are Pavlovsko in the northeast, Dobřív in the east, Hory u Mirošova to the southeast, and Čtrnáctka Mirošov in the south, Nevid and Vesela in the southwest, and Nová Huť Kocanda and Kamenný Újezd ​​in the northwest.

History
