Hrašné

HRASNE (Hungarian Rásnyahegy ) is a municipality in western Slovakia.

Location and General Description

The municipality was created in 1955 from parts of the municipal district of Kostolné and is named after the name of vrch former hermitage Hrašný. The municipality is located in the hill country between the Little Carpathians in the south and the White Carpathians in the north, about 4 kilometers southwest of Stara Turá. Nové Mesto nad Váhom is located approximately 25 kilometers east of the community, Myjava about 5 kilometers to the east, about 25 kilometers west of Senica. By HRASNE flow the streams Rudnik and Kostolník.

Special

In HRASNE the only brothel is in a radius of about 50 kilometers. This fact owes HRASNE his special reputation in the region.
