I See Stars

I See Stars is a post-hardcore band from Warren, Michigan, which has existed since 2005. Their music is accompanied by trance elements, so the music style can also be assigned to the Trancecore.

History

The two albums 3 -D (2009) and The End of the World Party (2011) were published in Sumerian Records. Previously, an EP was released, entitled Green Light, Go! (2007) on their own. Both 3- D and The End of the World Party reached each chart entries in the American charts.

I See Stars currently consist of Devin Oliver (vocals), Brent Allen ( guitar), Jimmy Gregerson (guitar), Jeff Valentine ( bass ), Andrew Oliver (drums) and Zach Johnson (keyboards, vocals). Johnson was in 2009 replaced by Chris Moore, who already played with We Came as Romans. A year later, Johnson returned to the group.

The group toured in October 2009 already with The Word Alive, Madina Lake and Silverstein. Also, I See Stars with Attack Attack!, Breathe Carolina, Asking Alexandria and Bury Tomorrow played as part of the "The Artery Foundation Across the Nation Tour " that ran through the entire United States between March 2010 and April 4, 2010 3.

In 2012, the band undertook a European tour with The Word Alive, For the Fallen Dreams and Upon a Burning Body. In September, the musicians and the crew of the band were arrested for drug abuse.

In the spring of 2013 to Mattie Montgomery of the Christian metalcore band For Today Emmure 's Frankie Palmeri and took with Tim Lambesis of As I Lay Dying, a cover of Bane 's song " Can We Start Again " on. On October 22, the band released their fourth album New Demons.
