Igloo Records

Igloo Records is a Belgian Jazz label.

The independent label Igloo was established in 1978 and has its headquarters in Brussels. After the takeover of the jazz label LDH, the label concentrated increasingly on modern jazz improvisation and new music. On the label released recordings, inter alia, by Nathalie Loriers, Philippe Aerts, Philip Catherine, Freddie Deronde, Michel Herr, Steve Houben, Sal La Rocca, Eric Legnini, Garrett List, Charles Loos, Ivan Paduart, Jacques Pelzer, Fats Sadi, Diederik Wissel, Pascal Schumacher and Fred Van Hove. In operation since 2005 series Igloo Mondo also collaborations between jazz musicians and world music artists such as Pierre Van Dormael / Soriba Kouyaté, Charles Loos / Aissawas of Rabat as well as recordings of Wendo Kolosoy, Majid Bekkas and Manou Gallo appeared.
