Ireland participated in the Summer Olympics in 1952 in Helsinki, Finland, with a delegation of 19 athletes (all men) in 18 competitions in six sports part. It was overall a medal ( silver ) are obtained. It was the fifth participation in the Olympic Summer Games for the country. Standard-bearer was Paddy Carroll.
