Ischenrode as a part of the community likes

Ischenrode is the southernmost district of the municipality in the district of Göttingen peers and has 153 inhabitants (as at 31 December 2010). The village lies in the valley of a tributary of the turn of Bach on the southeastern edge of the Reinhäuser forest. Neighboring towns are light Hagen in the west, the north and Bremke tube mountain in the south.

History

The first documented written record is in a document from the year 1168 obtained ( forgery of the 13th century ), in which Henry the Lion several possessions of the monastery Reinhausen confirmed, including four hooves in Disk Roth. Another early mention of em in 1207 can be found in the document book of the monastery clean living. Other previous names forms are table Roth ( 1250 ), Giskenroth ( 1262 ), Tyschenrode ( 1318 ) and Isekenrode ( 1338 ). The present form Ischenrode 1541 held for the first time in writing. On a map from 1785 21 fire sites are indicated for Ischenrode. Mayor is Martin desert field. The Protestants in Ischenrode belong to the Evangelical Lutheran Church. Church of St. Matthias in Bremke.

On 1 January 1973 Ischenrode was incorporated peers in the new church.
