Jack Riley (actor)

Jack Riley ( born December 30, 1935 in Cleveland, Ohio) is an American voice actor and actor.

Life

Riley attended John Carroll University in 1958 and did his military service in the United States Army. After retiring from the military he worked for several years as a presenter on a comedy show on a radio station in Cleveland. In 1962, he played a small supporting role in Blake Edwards ' Days of Wine and Roses, he subsequently gave the mid-1960s the radio commitment, and moved to Los Angeles. He received a recurring role in the sitcom Occasional Wife and some guest roles in television series directly. In 1970 he played in the anti-war film Catch-22 - The evil trick and was in the following years guest in a variety of series such as MASH, Cannon and Columbo. From 1972 to 1978 he played in The Bob Newhart Show in 76 episodes of the role of Elliot Carlin.
