James Gist

James Gist ( born October 26, 1984 in Adana, Turkey ) is an American professional basketball player.

Career

After Gist played between 2004 and 2008 for the University of Maryland, he was selected in the NBA Draft 2008, 57 out of the San Antonio Spurs. After his move to Italy in 2008 Gist played in succession for several European clubs. In 2011 he had with Partizan Belgrade next to the national championship and the Cup the club could Adriatic League win his most successful season as he. In December 2012, Gist moved in exchange for Andrew Panko from Malaga to Panathinaikos Athens.

In 2007, Gist part with the national team of the United States at the Pan American Games in Brazil in 2007 and finished in fifth place there.
