Ramel Curry

Antwone Ramel Curry ( born April 17, 1980 in New York City's Brooklyn borough, United States ) is an American professional basketball player. Since May 2013, is the Greek club Panathinaikos Athens under contract.

Career as a player

America ( to 2006)

Curry joined the study in 1999, first at the Junior College Fresno City College in the Californian city of the same name, where he played for the high school team Rams in the NJCAA. In 2001 he moved to the California State University, Bakersfield, where he played for the Roadrunners. The Roadrunners were playing at that time in the "California Collegiate Athletic Association " ( CCAA ) of the NCAA Division II and had been in the 1990s a very successful team with three state championships in Division II after just one year at CSUB finished curry his college career, after he was appointed in the CCAA for "Player of the Year " in 2002.

Europe ( since 2006)

For the season 2006/ 07 he signed a contract for the first time in Europe and moved to Italian Serie A club from the Campanian Avellino. With the club he was again able to just barely avoid relegation from Italy's top league this season. In the next season he moved to Israel HaPoel from Jerusalem. With this team, he defended the Israeli Cup 2008 final against Maccabi Tel Aviv. He then played in the 2008 /09 season again in Italy, where he finished with the traditional club from Pesaro the season relegated to the bottom of the table in Serie A.

The season 2009/10 started in Curry Erdemirspor from Zonguldak in the Türkiye Ligi Basketbol. In January 2010, he joined the Ukrainian champions Asowmasch from Mariupol, with which he was able in 2010 to defend the title in the national championship.
