Janne Jalasvaara

Janne Jalasvaara ( born April 15, 1984 in Oulu) is a Finnish professional ice hockey player who is under contract with HK Dynamo Moscow in the Kontinental Hockey League since January 2011.

Career

Janne Jalasvaara began his career as a hockey player in his hometown in the junior department of Kärpät Oulu, in which he was active until 2001. He then moved to the junior with the Espoo Blues, for their first team, he made his debut in the SM- liiga in the season 2002/ 03. In a total of 17 games, he remained no points and was awarded four penalty minutes. In the following three years, the defender came regularly for Espoo in the SM- liiga for use, but could not enforce final and played as Players out on loan for the Finnish U20 national team, Haukat, Salamat and Kiekko -Vantaa in Mestis second-rate.

For the season 2006/ 07 moved within the SM- liiga Jalasvaara to KalPa Kuopio, where he developed in the following years to guide players. His greatest success with KalPa was reaching the third place in the 2008 /09 season. In January 2011, the Finn was obliged by OHK Dynamo of the Kontinental Hockey League. For the Russians, he scored until the end of the season in 16 games two goals and was preparing to five. Following the Erstrundenaus Dynamo in the playoffs, his contract was extended ahead by two years. A year later he won with the OHK Dynamo the championship trophy of the KHL, the Gagarin Cup.

Internationally

For Jalasvaara Finland took part in the junior level at the U18 World Junior Championship in 2002 and the U20 World Junior Championships in 2003 and 2004. In both U-20 World Championships he won with his team bronze medals. In 2011 he was senior level in the squad of his country at the Euro Hockey Tour.
