Jasper Tudor

Jasper Tudor, 1st Duke of Bedford ( * ca 1431; . † 21./26 December 1495 ) was the uncle of King Henry VII of England.

Life

Jasper was the second son of Owen Tudor and the former Queen Catherine de Valois, widow of King Henry V. He was the half-brother of Henry VI. , Jasper 1452 or 1453 made ​​Earl of Pembroke.

Jasper was an adventurer with a considerable military expertise he had acquired in the beginning of the Wars of the Roses. Marriage and children
