Jennie Garth
Jennie Garth ( born April 3, 1972 in Urbana, Illinois; Jennifer Eve Garth actually ) is an American actress. She was best known for the role of Kelly Taylor on the television series Beverly Hills, 90210.
Life and career
Jennie Garth came in April 1972 in the State of Illinois as the youngest daughter of John and Carolyn Garth and grew a large part of her childhood with six half-siblings ( three maternal, three paternal ) on a horse ranch near their birthplace Urbana on.
At age 13, Jennie and her family moved to Phoenix, Arizona, where she took dance classes and started working as a model. When Jennie was 15 years old, she was discovered by the owner of a casting company of ABC Networks in a talent competition and encouraged to become an actress. Then she broke up with 17 years out of high school and moved with her mother in the film capital Los Angeles. She enrolled in a drama school and took part in many auditions. Your first television appearance was in 1989 in the television series Growing Pains. She got the first major role after four months on the NBC series A Brand New Life at the side of Barbara Eden.
In 1990, Garth auditioned for the role of Kelly Taylor before in a planned by Aaron Spelling and Darren Star TV series about the life of a high school clique in the posh Beverly Hills and was hired by the producers. Beverly Hills, 90210 soon became a cult series of the 1990s, leaving Garth and the other main characters ascend to international series stars. In 1992 Garth for her acting performance in the series the Young Artist Award. The role of Kelly Taylor played Garth even with three guest appearances in the spin off series Melrose Place.
Parallel to the filming of Beverly Hills, 90210 Garth played in several television films, including Hell on Earth: The Case of Laurie Kellogg (1994) and End of Innocence (1996).
After Beverly Hills, 90210 ended after ten successful years, Garth played between 2002 and 2006 in the sitcom What I Like About the role of Valerie Tyler. After 86 episodes, the series was discontinued. In 2007, Garth at the dance show Dancing with the Stars (adapted in Germany as Let's Dance ) part, where she finished fourth with her dance partner Derek Hough.
From 2008 to 2010 Garth was in the television series 90210, the second spin-off of Beverly Hills, 90210, to see them again in the role of Kelly Taylor.
Garth was about two years married to the musician Daniel Clark. In 1996, she met actor Peter Facinelli while filming the movie Blonde Vengeance is familiar with and is married to him since 2001. The couple has three daughters and lives in LA and on a ranch near Santa Barbara. In March 2012, Garth and Facinelli announced their separation.
Garth is convinced vegetarian and is involved in the animal rights organization PETA.
