Jennifer Carroll

Jennifer Sandra Carroll ( born August 27, 1959 in Port of Spain, Trinidad and Tobago) is an American politician. Between 2011 and 2013 she was Deputy Governor of the State of Florida.

Career

At the age of eight years was Jennifer Johnson, as her maiden name, in the United States. In 1977 she graduated from Uniondale High School in New York State. Between 1979 and 1999 she served in the U.S. Navy, where she reached the rank of Lieutenant Commander. During this time she was able to continue their education at various universities. Later she suggested as a member of the Republican Party launched a political career. In the years 2000 and 2002, she ran unsuccessfully for each U.S. House of Representatives. Between 2000 and 2002, she led the veterans authority of the State of Florida. After that, she was a member of the Commission for the United States Presidential Scholars Program until 2004.
