Jessica Boehrs
Life
Böhrs began working in 1993 with 13 years as an actress. First she played small roles in television series and television movies. In 1996 she made as JessVaness their first steps in the music business, including as a background singer at Caught in the Act or Tic Tac Toe. She was initially only moderately successful, and relocating its activities to the studio. She sang, among others, the chorus of Laura.
Music career as Novaspace
In 2002 she met the Stuttgart music producer Felix Gauderfest, Novaspace was founded. The first single, Time After Time, originally performed by Cyndi Lauper, went straight to number 6 in the German charts. Other cover versions followed. On 6 January 2003, the first album Supernova appeared.
2004 appeared the second, produced by Claude Nova and Fabienne Space Novaspace album Cubes, on the more self-written songs are to be found than on the predecessor. However, it was at the decoupled Singles Run to You, Beds Are Burning and So Lonely by cover versions of Bryan Adams, Midnight Oil and The Police. All three singles managed to enter the German charts. The song Beds Are Burning was the most successful in the career of Novaspace. The Hit So Lonely was released in the U.S., but flopped on the Billboard charts.
On 2 June 2006, the third album DJ Edition was published. In January 2008 it was announced that for the Novaspace project for a new singer was sought that was with Jenny Marsala found.
Film and Television
Since the age of 13 Böhrs played, among other roles in television series and television movies such as The Wagenfeld, Der Bulle von Tölz, The Guard, SOKO 5113 or The Red Mile. In 2003 she took over the role of Melanie Neuhaus in the ARD Soap Marienhof. In the same year she got a role in the DreamWorks Euro trip. In the comedy, she played Mieke, the German pen pal Scott - which he mistook for a man ( "Mike" ).
Incidentally moderated Böhrs 2006-2007 times for RTL II, including the music program Apres Ski Hits ( with Darius Rafat in 2006 and with DJ Ötzi in 2007).
In the years 2006 and 2007 Böhrs was in the ZDF series A love on Lake Garda, in the KiKA series Schloss Einstein as an educator Nina and the Sat.1 comedy series Zack! to see. From March to October 2008, Böhrs was seen as Jana Schneider in the German telenovela storm of love. On 17 January 2010, she was hostess at The perfect celebrity dinner.
In February 2012 Böhrs had a guest appearance as Vivian Wellbach in the Sat.1 telenovela Anna und die Liebe for three episodes.
Since January 2012, she is a wedding planner Andrea Herbst in the television series cruise into happiness alongside Marcus Grüsser the successor of Eva -Maria Grein by Friedl.
Private
Böhrs lives in Munich and Potsdam, and is married to actor Marcus Grüsser since July 2010.
