Jesús Navas

Jesús Navas González ( born November 21, 1985 in Los Palacios y Villafranca, Seville ) is a Spanish footballer who plays for Manchester City since 2013. His position is right midfield. He belongs to the minority of the Gitanos at (Roma).

Clubs

In 2000 Navas came to the youth department of FC Sevilla. His first game for the first team, he completed on 23 November 2003 as a 18 -year-old against Espanyol and quickly rose to first-team regular. With Seville he triumphed in 2006 and 2007 UEFA Cup and 2007 and 2010 in the Spanish Cup.

For the 2013/14 season Navas changes to the Premier League to Manchester City.

National

In 2004, Navas was first used in the Spanish U- 21 team. Due to chronic homesickness, which repeatedly forced him to leave training camps and playing abroad, he had to interrupt his international career.

It was only on 14 November 2009 he made his debut in the Spanish national team in a 2-1 against Argentina. He was substituted in the 81st minute for Andrés Iniesta. Four days later, he played the second half in a 5-1 victory over Austria.

In May 2010, Navas was nominated by Vicente del Bosque despite strong competition for the 2010 World Cup. At the World Cup warm-up game against South Korea on June 3, Navas scored his first international goal in a 1-0 victory in Spain. At the World Cup he came in three games, including the final against the Netherlands, as a substitute and it won the world title with Spain.

At the World Cup in South Africa Navas headed by a solo on the right sidelines a the decisive goal in the final by Andres Iniesta.

In the final group game at Euro 2012 he appeared as a substitute in the 64th minute for the game playmaker David Silva at right midfield. After a pass from Iniesta, he scored the 1-0 Final against Croatia and thus secured the Spanish group victory.

Navas usually plays on the wing tips, its strengths include its fast response speed and his dribbling skills.
