Jevohn Shepherd

Jevohn Shepherd ( born April 8, 1986 in Toronto, Ontario ) is a Canadian professional basketball player of Jamaican descent, the 2011/12 ZZ for the Dutch champions suffering plays in the season in the Eredivisie. Shepherd was with the national team of Canada finalists of the Basketball World Championship 2010 as well as the basketball Americas Championship 2011.

From 2005 to 2009 Shepherd has spent four years for the NCAA team the University of Michigan Wolverines on baskets hunting. He then played for the Halifax Rainmen in the U.S. Premier Basketball League. From start of the season 2010/2011 to March 2011, he played in the German second division per A for the Giro live Ballers Osnabrück. He then moved up to the end of the season in May in the first basketball league to the Skyliners in Frankfurt. For the following season 2011/12 he was awarded a contract with the reigning Dutch champions Zorg en Zekerheid from suffering.

With the Canadian national team, he was a participant in the 2010 World Cup, which among other things, ended after five preliminary round defeats against the Lebanese national basketball team without a single victory in disappointment. The America Cup 2011 ended with disappointing sixth place, as only the fifth place that reached the national team of Venezuela, would be entitled to participate in the pre-Olympic qualifying tournament for London 2012.
