Jim Parrack

Jim "Jimmy" Parrack ( born February 8, 1981 in Allen, Texas ) is an American actor. He gained notoriety for his role as Hoyt Fortenberry in the television series True Blood and for his role as LCpl. Peter Kerns in the film Battle: Los Angeles, which premiered in March 2011. Sporadically he also comes as a theater director for use.

Life and career

Jim Parrack was born in 1981 in the town of Allen in the U.S. state of Texas, where he grew up and there from 1996 to 1999, the Allen High School visited. After he already acted as an actor in his high school days, he came some time after its completion there to Los Angeles, where he first lived in 2001 at a best friend's girlfriend, before he settled in Toluca Lake district. In LA, he attended, among others, for two years, The Stella Adler Academy, from which he came afterwards to the or to the Playhouse West Acting School and Repertory Theater in Toluca Lake. There he is still regularly seen in various productions, currently in the play Welcome Home Soldier. After several years with the local theater group, where he acted among others in addition to the actor William Ngo and was trained by Robert Carnegie and Jeff Goldblub, Parrack finally gave in 2006 his film and television debut. He was the first time in the movie Annapolis - to see the struggle for recognition in the non-negligible role of the AJ. During his time in the cast of True Blood Parrack has been with the remaining cast (17 people) awarded at the 2009 Satellite Awards with a prize in the category "Best Ensemble, Television". 2010 finally followed by a nomination for a Screen Actors Guild Award for "Outstanding Performance by Ensemble in a Drama Series in " where he was also nominated with the 17 -man cast.
