Jimmy Conrad

Jimmy Conrad ( born February 12, 1977 in Temple City, California) is an American football player and current for the Major League Soccer club Chivas USA active. In addition, Conrad is currently plaing for national player of the United States and was nominated by Bruce Arena for the Football World Cup 2006 in Germany.

Sports career

The defender learned to play football in the youth team of the Santa Anita Stallions, the student team of Temple City High School and in the Mountain View Youth Soccer League. In the years 1994 and 1995 he attended the San Diego State University and was as active as later in the university selection at UCLA, where he also completed two seasons and in 1997 won the championship in the NCAA.

Conrad was outside the Draft System of MLS and 1998, then joined in the A-League, a second-rate league in the United States, the now -defunct club San Diego Flash and won on the side of Joe Cannon, his and future teammates in San José, the championship in the Pacific Division. After only one year Conrad joined the MLS club to San Jose Clash ( from the year 2000: " San Jose Earthquakes " ) and came in his first season to 17 matches. In the second season, he continued to develop first-team regular and stood at 25 inserts total in all nine games without conceding a goal of the club on the pitch.
