Jin Mao Tower

The Jin Mao Tower (Chinese金茂 大厦/金茂 大厦, Pinyin Jinmao Dasha, such as: golden magnificent building) is a comprehensive 88 floors skyscraper in Pudong financial district in Shanghai.

Description

The foundation stone of, Owings and Merrill planned by Skidmore tower was laid in 1994. In 1998 construction was completed and the building was at a height of 420.5 meters with 88 floors, the tallest in China.
