Jochem de Gruijter

Jochem de Gruijter ( born April 18, 1978 in Leidschendam ) is a former Dutch volleyball and beach volleyball player.

Career

De Gruijter debuted in 1995 in the Dutch national volleyball team. Two years later, he won the European Championship with the team in their own countries by 3-1 in the final against Yugoslavia. Overall, he came to 120 appearances in the national team.

2003 played his first international de Gruijter Beach tournaments with Gijs Ronnes. The following year, the two Dutch occupied the 19th place at the European Championship in Timmendorfer beach.
