John Armstrong (ice hockey)

John Armstrong ( born February 26, 1988 in Unionville, Ontario ) is a Canadian professional ice hockey player standing since 2009 with the Calgary Flames of the National Hockey League contract.

Career

John Armstrong began his career as a hockey player in the Canadian Junior Football League Ontario Hockey League, where he was active for the Plymouth Whalers and Peterborough Petes 2004-2008. During this period, he was selected in the NHL Entry Draft in 2006 in the third round than a total of 87 players from the Calgary Flames.

After the attacker in the 2008 /09 season in 68 games had 20 points scorer for Calgary's farm team, the Quad City Flames of the American Hockey League achieved, he has been playing for the 2009/10 season for the new farm team of the Calgary Flames, the Abbotsford Heat in the AHL.
