John Benjamin Hickey

John Benjamin Hickey ( born June 25, 1963 in Plano, Texas ) is an American actor.

Life

Hickey attended after high school, first between 1981 and 1983, the Texas State University - San Marcos. His bachelor's degree in English literature, he received in 1985 from Fordham University. He began his acting career in the theater and went from 1992 in Off- Broadway productions. His Broadway debut in 1995, he celebrated in the role of Arthur Pape in Love! Valour! Compassion! on the side of John Glover. The Tony Award nominee for the comedy written by Terrence McNally was filmed in 1997, with almost the entire Broadway cast was available again. Among other Broadway engagements, including Cabaret and Mary Stuart and the drama The Normal Heart, for which he with the Tony Award and the Drama Desk Award was awarded in 2011, Hickey began in the mid- 1990s, also a career in film and television.

His film debut was in 1994 in the black comedy Hickey No Panic - Good hostages are rarely on the side of Denis Leary and Kevin Spacey, but this in no more than a minor role. He had a major supporting role in the same year in the comedy Just for you next to Marisa Tomei and Robert Downey Jr. As a result, he had supporting roles in several major Hollywood productions such as The Bone Collector, Defenseless - The General's Daughter, Flags of Our Fathers and Transformers - revenge.
