John Ingle

John Houston Ingle ( born May 7, 1928 in Tulsa, Oklahoma; † 16 September 2012 in Los Angeles, California ) was an American actor, voice actor and teacher.

Life

John Houston Ingle attended Verdugo Hills High School and then studied at Occidental College. From 1955 he was a teacher of English and theater at Hollywood High School. In 1964, he became the Beverly Hills High School staggered, where he became taught acting until his retirement in 1985. Among his most famous pupils included the later actor Nicolas Cage, Albert Brooks, Richard Dreyfuss, Joanna Gleason, Barbara Hershey, Swoosie Kurtz, Stefanie Powers, David Schwimmer, Jonathan Silverman and Julie Kavner.

From the early 1980s Ingle took over isolated guest roles in television series and films. He has starred in films such as Amazon Women on the Moon or why the Yanks have the channel fully, RoboCop 2 and Death Becomes Her with good. He also played the character of Edward Quatermaine in 452 episodes of the hospital drama General Hospital and the figure of Mickey Horton from 2004 to 2006 in 43 episodes in the television series Days of Our Lives. Aside from acting, he dubbed several animated films and TV series. Such was his bekannste dubbed his character of Triceratops Topsy in 12 animated films of the film series A Land Before Time, and in 2007 produced television series The Land Before Time.

On September 16, 2012, died Ingle. His wife Grace- Lynne Martin already died on February 11, 2012. Both were married for 11 December 1954. They had five daughters together, nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
