John Levén

John Gunnar Levén ( born October 25, 1963 in Stockholm ) is the bassist for the Swedish rock band Europe. Levén is divorced and has two sons, Alex and Daniel.

John Levén moved at the age of seven years in the Stockholm suburb Upplands Väsby, where other members of Europe were growing up. In 1981, he joined the band, which had been formed two years earlier and was still Force said. He was a bassist successor of Peter Olsson, who had recently dropped out. 1985 John Leven Joey Tempest made ​​the suggestion to write a song based on a keyboard riff, the Tempest had already composed several years earlier.
