The Final Countdown (English for, 'The Final Countdown ') is the third studio album by the Swedish hard rock band Europe. The previously tapped in February title track of the album reached number one in the charts, which the band was known in 26 countries worldwide.

In 2001, the album was reissued and in addition contains three live versions of the numbers The Final Countdown, Danger On the Track and Carrie.

Another recorded in this period piece, On Broken Wings, was later pressed on the B- side of the single of The Final Countdown.

Except for the piece Carrie, was the whole plate as film music in Hot Rod - used at full throttle through hell (2007). Furthermore, there was The Final Countdown in Manta - listen to The Movie ( 1991). The Final Countdown 1994 Award in the USA with triple platinum.
