Bag of Bones (English for " bag of bones " ) is the ninth studio album by the Swedish hard rock band Europe. It was produced by Kevin Shirley, who was also responsible for several successful albums by Joe Bonamassa, Black Country Communion and Iron Maiden, and was published on 26 April 2012.

Europe in 2009 was relatively large with Last Look at Eden the album success, the album reached number one in addition to Sweden and number 29 in Switzerland and # 31 in the German music charts. Work on the new album began on 3 October 2011 at the Atlantis Studio in Stockholm, which was " fully equipped with technology from the sixties and seventies. The European release of Bag of Bones was on 26 January 2012, the pre- decoupled Single, Not Supposed to Sing the Blues, was released on 9 March 2012 as a download version. A video clip for the song was produced and directed by Patric Ullaeus in Gothenburg.
