John O'Shea ( 2013)

John Francis O'Shea [ oʃɛɨ ] ( born April 30, 1981 in Waterford, Ireland) is an Irish football player.

Career

Club career

O'Shea played 1996-2011 at Manchester United since 1999 as a professional. From January 2000 to March 2000 he was loaned to AFC Bournemouth. From January 2001 to May 2001, he was on loan again, this time at Royal Antwerp.

His Premier League debut for Manchester was O'Shea on November 4, 2001 against Liverpool. In early 2006, he extended his contract with Manchester United until 2009.

During the summer break in 2011 O'Shea moved together with his teammate Wes Brown to Sunderland AFC. O'Shea signed a contract for four years.

National

His debut in the Irish national team played O'Shea on August 15, 2001 against Croatia. He is one of the hopefuls of his country and is a regular player.
