Joern Uwe Fahrenkrog- Petersen ( born March 10, 1960 in Berlin ) is a German music producer and composer.

Life

Fahrenkrog -Petersen was keyboardist and composer of the New German Wave band Nena. He composed the music for songs like only dreamed or Somehow, Somewhere, Sometime and 99 balloons, which reached number two inter alia the U.S. Billboard charts. When the group disbanded in 1987, Fahrenkrog -Petersen went as a composer and producer in New York. There he founded together with singer Jean Beauvoir the heavy metal band Voodoo X, whose debut album was named The Awakening from the English Metal Hammer for rock album of the decade.
