José Manuel Pinto Colorado ( born November 8, 1975 in El Puerto de Santa María ) is a Spanish football player. The goalkeeper plays for FC Barcelona since 2008.

Career

José Manuel Pinto was ten years crowd favorite of the Spanish football club Celta de Vigo. Since joining in 1998 by the 2nd team of Real Betis, he managed to work his way into one of the most renowned goalkeeper of Spain. However, it was only from the 2004/05 season the undisputed choice goalkeeper of the club. So he won in the 2005/06 season, as Vigo qualified for the UEFA Cup, the Trofeo Zamora, División title for the goalkeeper with least goals conceded in La Liga. Still, he could not prevent the descent of the team Celta de Vigo, which he then descended again to and again in the following season.
