José Piendibene
José Miguel Piendibene Ferrari ( * June 5, 1890, † November 12, 1969 ) was a Uruguayan football player.

Association
Piendibene played from 1908 to 1928 for Peñarol Montevideo. During this time he won six championships with the Carboneros. Piendiebene played a total of 469 appearances for the Aurinegros and thus stands in ninth place of the list of all current and former players. He is the player Peñarols who disputed with 62 Clásicos, including 26 in the championship, the most competitive cross- inserts having in this respect in the club's history. With this achieved 26 goals he ranks in the Clasico -related list of the most successful goal scorers Peñarol ranked second behind Fernando Morena (27 goals) and ahead of Pablo Bengoechea (21). Piendibene made his debut for the Uruguayan national football team on October 10, 1909 against Argentina in Buenos Aires. He played 14 years in the national team in 40 matches and scored 20 goals. His last game for the Celeste he made on 25 November 1923.

Piendibene came to two games at the unofficial Copa America 1910.
Campeonato Sudamericano 1916
When Campeonato Sudamericano 1916 Piendibene scored his first Turniertor against Chile. He finished the tournament with two goals and was thus on the second place in the scoring charts.

Piendibene was a member of the team in the Campeonato Sudamericano 1917, but it was not used in the course of the tournament.

Uruguay's national team won their third in 1920 Campeonato Sudamericano and Piendibene came to three games and scored a goal.
