Jose S. Palma

SeroFIA Jose Palma ( born March 19, 1950 in Dingle ) is Archbishop of Cebu.

Life

Jose Palma SeroFIA received on 21 August 1976, the ordination. John Paul II appointed him on 28 November 1997 as Titular Bishop of Vazari - Didda and Auxiliary Bishop of Cebu.

He received his episcopal consecration by the Apostolic Nuncio to the Philippines, Gian Vincenzo Moreni, on January 13 of next year; Co-consecrators were Alberto Jover Piamonte, Archbishop of Jaro, and Fernando R. Capalla, Archbishop of Davao.

On January 13, 1999, he was appointed Bishop of Calbayog, and introduced into the office on March 9 of the same year. On 18 March 2006 he was appointed Archbishop of Palo, and introduced into the office on 2 May of the same year. On 15 October 2010 he was appointed Archbishop of Cebu and introduced to the office on January 13 of next year.
