José Salomón Rondón

Jose Salomon Rondon Gimenez ( born September 16, 1989 in Caracas ) is a Venezuelan football player. Since 2014, the striker at Zenit St Petersburg is under contract.

Career

Rondon began his career in his home at Aragua FC. On 8 October 2006, he celebrated 17 years with his debut in the Primera División Venezolana. In the following two seasons, he played 58 games, scored 18 goals and won the 2007 with his team in the Copa Venezuela.

For the season 2008/ 09 of Venezuelans joined in the Spanish Segunda División to UD Las Palmas. Here Rondon succeeded in the 2009 /10 with ten goals this season of breakthrough. As the youngest foreign scorer in club history drew the then 20 -year-old after the season the interest of some first division side up.

Prior to the 2010/11 season Rondon moved to Andalusia to FC Málaga. In his first year in the Spanish top flight he came in 30 operations on 14 results.

Due to financial problems of the Málaga CF Rondon joined the 2012/13 season to Russia Rubin Kazan.
