Jørn Lande
Jørn landing ( born May 31, 1968 in Rjukan, Norway ) is a heavy metal and hard rock singer. He is in the scene as a vocalist and vocal acrobat, and is for studio projects one of the most sought after singers in heavy rock area.
Since his father is a musician, Jorn interest in music was awakened in his early teenage years. As his main inspiration is called Jørn country rock music of the 1970s and 1980s.
Since the second half of the 1980s the country touring with various bands and could also be heard as a studio singer on several albums. For more than twenty studio albums, he has collaborated with internationally known rock musicians, such as Arjen Anthony Lucassen, Ronnie Le Tekro (TNT), Yngwie J. Malmsteen, Micky Moody, Bernie Marsden ( Ex Whitesnake ), Joe Lynn Turner, Don Airey, Ken Hensley, Uli Jon Roth, Jorn Viggo Lofstad ( Pagan's Mind ).
After he had taken a few years to develop as a singer and songwriter, was released in 1994 under the band name Vagabond, the first official CD with him as a singer. In the same year he also sang at the participation of the Norwegian national football team at the World Cup in the USA, the hymn " Alt for Norge ".
In 2000 he started his solo project Jorn, with whom he is successful to this day. In the same year he joined the band Millennium, resulting in the collaboration with the American rock guitarist Ralph Santolla arose. Land replaced while the original singer Todd Plant, however, after just one album with the land returned to the band on vocals again.
His biggest successes celebrated landing with the power metal band Masterplan, which he joined in 2002 shortly after it was founded by the two ex- Helloween musicians Roland Grapow (guitar) and Uli Kusch (drums). However, the country left the band due to time constraints in 2006, after which ex- Riot singer Mike DiMeo boarding as his successor. However JORNS return to the master plan was announced on July 25th 2009, on 21 May 2010 released their album " Time To Be King". On 2 July 2010, the new solo album Dio appeared. It is a tribute album in memory of the deceased in May 2010, vocalist Ronnie James Dio, which consists of a written tribute from the country song called Song for Ronnie James and several cover songs country, which are based on the original song by Dio.
