Juha Lind

Juha Petteri Lind ( born January 2, 1974 in Helsinki ) is a retired Finnish professional ice hockey player who played in his playing days from 1992 to 2010 among others for the Dallas Stars and Montreal Canadiens in the National Hockey League.

Career

Juha Lind began his career as a hockey player in his youth by Jokerit Helsinki, for the first team from 1992 to 1997, he was initially active in the SM- liiga. During this time he won with the team the championship in 1994 and 1996 respectively, and 1995 and 1996 the European Cup. In addition, the attacker in 1995 with Jokerit was runner-up in 1993 and reached the third place in the European Cup. During this time, Lind also been selected in the NHL Entry Draft in 1992 in the eighth round as the 178th overall player of the Minnesota North Stars.

Internationally

For Finland Lind took part in the U20 World Junior Championships in 1994, as well as the World Championships 1997, 1999, 2000, 2001 and 2002 in part. In addition, he was in the squad Finland at the 1998 Winter Olympics in Nagano and 2002 Salt Lake City.
