Geography

Juneau is located in the central southeastern Wisconsin, about 4 km west of the Rock River, a left tributary of the Mississippi. The geographical coordinates are 43 ° 24'23 Juneau " north latitude and 88 ° 42'12 " west longitude. The city covers an area of 4.1 km ².

History

The city of Juneau is named after its founder, Paul Juneau. His father, Solomon Juneau, is a founder of Milwaukee.
