Geography
Mayville is located in the central southeastern Wisconsin on the East Branch Rock River, the eastern source river of the Rock River. This flows through the states of Wisconsin and Illinois and empties into rock Iceland in Illinois in the Mississippi. Approximately one kilometer west of the outskirts of the Horicon Marsh Mayville begins, a wetland and wildlife sanctuary.
