Fox Lake is a small town ( with a status of "City" ) in Dodge County in the U.S. state of Wisconsin. In 2010, Fox Lake had 1519 inhabitants.
Geography
Fox Lake is located in the central southeastern Wisconsin, at Fox Lake, which is drained by tapping Beaver Dam River. The river belongs on the Crawfish and Rock River to the basin of the Mississippi. The geographical coordinates of Fox Lake are 43 ° 33'56 " north latitude and 88 ° 54'23 " west longitude. The city covers an area of 4.17 km ².

Traffic
With the confluence with the Wisconsin State Highway 33, the Wisconsin State Highway 68 reaches its western terminus in the center of Fox Lake. All other roads are minor roads, some unpaved roadways and within local roads.
A railroad line of the Wisconsin and Southern Railroad leads west to east direction about one kilometer south past Fox Lake.
With the Dodge County Airport is located 25.2 kilometers south-east a small airfield. The next airports are the Dane County Regional Airport in Madison ( 73.7 km southwest ) and the General Mitchell International Airport in Milwaukee (121 kilometers south-east ).
