Júnior Enrique Díaz Campbell ( born September 12, 1983 in San José ) is a Costa Rican football player who is under contract 05 since 2012 in the German Bundesliga 1 FSV Mainz.

Career

Clubs

Díaz began his professional career with the Costa Rican club CS Herediano, for whom he played a total of four years. End of January 2008, he joined the Polish first division club Wisła Kraków before moving to the Belgian first division side FC Bruges 2010. In 2011 he went on loan back to Poland Wisła Kraków.

During the summer break in 2012 Díaz moved equipped with a three-year contract in 2015 to Germany on 1 FSV Mainz 05, he made his debut on 22 September 2012 ( 4th Round ) 2-0 victory at home to FC Augsburg. His first Bundesliga goal he scored on September 30, 2012 ( 6th Round ) with the results for the interim 1-0 2-0 win in the away match against VfL Wolfsburg.

National

On September 7, 2003 in Fort Lauderdale Díaz gave his debut in the senior team in a 2-0 victory in the Test match against the selection of China, when he came on in the 58th minute for Leonardo Gonzalez. His first game in a tournament was the third group match of the Copa America 2004 against Chile, which was won 2-1. The following year, Díaz took part in all games in the Central America Cup and won with the team the final against Honduras 7-6 in a penalty shootout in which he converted a penalty themselves. In 2004, he ran on well at the Olympic Games in Athens and reached there with his team's quarter-final, which they lost 0-4 against Argentina.
